This is the Villa WellenRausch-privately ruled boutique hotel at the Baltic Sea for active and sporty guests aged over 14 years.We combine history with a modern spirit of time: with charm and personality.

In two historic villas a real feel-good atmosphere has been created through modern interior design. The hotel is centrally but quietly located and scores with a high sustainability factor, regionality, coriality and a well-stocked hotel bar.

Our 25 rooms and apartments are lovely furnished with the most modern and exclusive technique and with a personal touch. Either tasty and handmade rolls or fresh eggs from the farmer “round the corner” or honey from the beekeeper in Lübeck- here you can taste the fresh quality!
And when your wonderful day comes to an end, you discover at the WellenRausch Bar or on the terrace your favorite longdrink: The biggest variety of German Gin’s far and wide is waiting for you - of course combined with the right tonic.

In the Baltic Sea resort and around it are plenty of possibilities to enjoy your holidays: Running at the beach, cycling through the dunes and woods, excursions to the Holstein Switzerland and along the Baltic Sea coast and shopping tour in the Hanseatic City of Lübeck. After these great activities you can take your time out and enjoy the rest of your day.

Entrance to the accommodation is not step-free, no elevator available, possible to stop in front of the accommodation by car, washbasin not wheelchair accessible, no shower chair available, no grab rails in the bathroom.

Please note that our regular check-in times are from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily. A late check-in is only possible after prior written notification. Late check-in must be registered no later than 12:00 p.m. on the day prior arrival. We will then create video tutorials for you with the access data for our key safes and all the information about your arrival, your accomodation, e.g. where/how to find your room and some special features which could be interesting for you. We will send all these information videos send to you via email or Whattsapp on the day of your arrival. We ask for your understanding that we charge an additional service fee of € 10.00 for the increased effort involved in a late check-in. 1.Arriving by car:
Coming from Hamburg or Puttgarden take the Autobahn E22/ A1 north (Lübeck/Puttgarden). At the interchange Bad Schwartau (A20) leave the A1 and follow the A226 in the direction of Lübeck-Travemünde. At Lübeck-Siems the Autobahn becomes the B75. Follow B75 until Travemünde. After reaching Travemünde turn left at the decal information “Strand, Kurgebiet” into the street ‘Moorredder’. The street turns into ‘Am Fahrenberg’. At the end of this street turn right into ‘Godewind’ and follow the street. In front of the beach the street turns left into ‘Kaiserallee’ . After about 30 m on the left hand side you will see the Villa WellenRausch.Driving route from Hamburg by car: round about 75 km
2. Arriving by train:
Take the train to Lübeck/Travemünde Strand ( final station). The station is about 100m from the Villa WellenRausch. Then you take the exit from the wonderful historical train station , you go straight ahead towards the beach. After about 70 m you have to turn left in the Kaiserallee. After 30 m on the left hand side you will see the Villa WellenRausch.
3.Arriving by plane
Once you arrive at Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel you can best continue your travel by car or train. Sport and commercial airlines fly to Lübeck-Blankensee airport (25 km ).
Distance airport Fuhlsbüttel to theResort: approximately 80 km. Then you can take the airportbus ( Traveliner) to ZOB in Lübeck.Afterwards with the train or taxi to Travemünde.

Visitor's tax: The visitor's tax is not inclusive in your booking and needs to be paid separately. 01.01.-14.05. and 15.09.-31.12. € 1.60 per person/day. 15.05.-14.09. € 3.- per person/day
