This gabled house was acquired as a guild house for the Seafarer's Guild of Lübeck in 1535, and to this day it has remained architecturally unchanged. Today, this historical building is used as a traditional restaurant with refined, regional cuisine. The interior decor is truly remarkable with its ships models suspended from the ceiling, historical murals and numerous display cases with maritime collectors’ pieces. One secret tip for a small refreshment in the summer months is the seafarers’ garden in the beautiful rear courtyard.
