Lübeck is particularly proud of its three Nobel Prize laureates: Günter Grass, Willy Brandt and Thomas Mann. Three museums are dedicated to their life and work. The European Hansemuseum opened its doors in 2015. It brings the rise, fall and legend of the former economic power to life and invites you to a time travel through 800 years of Hanseatic history.
