With the tour starting at the Tourist Information, Lübeck’s most important landmark is right on the doorstep: the Holsten Gate! From here, you are guided past the Salt Warehouses and cross over the Trave river onto the Old Town island. The heart of the Old Town is unmistakable with its magnificent brick Gothic silhouette.

Lübeck isn’t known as the “City of 7 Towers” for nothing! Discover our impressive Gothic style churches and decide for yourself which should be deemed as Lübeck’s ‘main’ church.
