Lübeck owes the beautiful alleyways of its Old Town, some of which you can only enter when ducking down, to the care and attention of its citizens. Here, a lot of structures have been preserved whilst the city also made the move to modernity. This wasn’t the case in many cities, making the variety of alleyways unique in the world. Take in the beautiful evening light and marvel in the stories about these remarkable little gangways and the city in general.
