Description
On the Traces of Dornier Flight Operations - from Lake Constance to Priwall
Aviation Pioneer History of the Do X at Priwall
The Do X was the largest airplane in the world at that time. It was considered a "flying hotel ship," flew to North and South America, and made multiple stops in Travemünde during its round trip in Germany in 1932.
Join us for a bike tour (25km) in search of the legendary aircraft engineer Claude Dornier, with his pioneering spirit in connection with this prestigious object.
Experience locations on Priwall and the surrounding area where aviation history took place up close. These include the former seaplane base at Pötenitzer Wiek, the former flight handling building as well as the Schlossgut Gross Schwansee in Klützer Winkel; right at your doorstep.
With kind support from Conrado Dornier
