On the banks of the Trave and Wakenitz, you are at the heart of Lübeck’s Old Town life but still surrounded by the havens of green oases by the water. The new Drehbrückenplatz on Untertrave, the Strandsalon on the Wallhalbinsel peninsula or Painters’ Corner on the banks of the Trave are among the favourite spots by the water in Lübeck. Enjoy a break from your stroll through the town, let your gaze wander over the water to the historical urban panorama or pack your picnic basket.
