Christmas decoration in all colours and shapes already adorns the Schneckenhaus wherever you look. It can also be exotic and multi-coloured – that’s what Christmas in Lübeck is like. Every morning we bake all kinds of fresh yeast buns in over a dozen varieties: sweet, savoury and vegan. Just in time for Christmas, we have enlisted the help of some very special Christmas bakers to expand our range. Introducing: The Christstollen roll with rum sultanas and almond slivers, the Spekulatius roll with all kinds of festive spices and the fruity Orange Gingerbread roll.

Who doesn't like getting a compliment? That’s right! And since you send cards at Christmas anyway, you can combine the two and send Season compliments to your loved ones. From "Heaven sent you" (in German) to "All I want for Christmas is you", you'll find lots of great Advent greetings for your Christmas mail. You’ll find pens, colourful stamps and a touch of inspiration surrounding you in our writing workshop at the Tourist Information. So you can enjoy a cup of hot cocoa or a fragrant cup of tea while writing your Christmas greetings. At last, you can drop the finished compliment postcards directly into our beautiful mailbox. Just don't forget to put a stamp on your card, you can get one at our Schneckenhaus or at the counter of the Tourist Office. All we want for Christmas is you!
