Events at Christmas

It’s fun to simply go with the flow, follow the scent of mulled wine and waffles and wander past the various creative stands.

But sometimes we also want to have a destination: a Christmas concert, making something for the little ones or a church service to reflect on the origin of Christmas and find inner peace in the hustle and bustle of Advent. The Christmas Capital of Northern Germany offers all this in addition to its Christmas markets. On this page, allow yourself to be whisked away to the churches, museums, theatres and event venues of the Hanseatic city which have all manner of things to offer you during Advent.
