Children

For the little ones

Children explicitly welcome! The HanseKulturFestival offers a varied programme especially for young Lübeckers, and we are not just talking about cotton candy and carousels. You can enjoy yourselves freely, attend exciting shows or make your own souvenirs. Exclusive children's areas offer a colourful programme of hands-on activities. Additionally, there’s a lot of exciting surprises in store for you. Have fun!

Together with the Lübeck Youth Ring and Zeytreise e.V., a wonderful historical camp will be set up in the immediate vicinity of the Holsten Gate. Medieval workshops and historical costumes create a relaxed and exciting family area. Try your hand at various medieval crafts. Under expert guidance, you will be able to make a variety of items to take home with you.

Old becomes new: In Lübeck, a puppet theatre and a museum are merging to form a completely new entity - KOLK 17. Unfortunately, it's not quite finished yet. That's a good thing, because there's still plenty of material left on the building site to build something. While the finished figures are waiting to make their appearance, you can invent characters and create something new with old material. Let your imagination run wild!

Writing, painting, performing, dancing and making music are just some of the activities on offer in the Culture Labyrinth. You can try out lots of things and be creative in a playful way.
