Dance
"Dancing in the street" is understood quite literally at the HanseKulturFestival. Dancing in the street provides the necessary energy for you to feel the rhythm in your blood and more importantly in your feet. Those of you who can’t just sit back and watch, but instead want to show of a few moves will definitely get your money’s worth. Dancing is generally allowed (and encouraged) always in any place.
Lübeck Dance Collective
Sat, 1.15, 3 and 5 pm - St. Marien
A collective made up of various dancers and groups from the Lübeck School of Music and Art will present a programme of voguing, commercial, hip-hop, contemporary and pole dancing three times on Saturday. Excuse me, pole dancing in a church? Yes, exactly! We are brave and dare to do what no one else dares to do. There will be live music in a classic church setting with organ, violin and cello. Don't miss this unorthodox mix.
Lübeck dances together
Sat, 5 pm - Markt
On Saturday, all dance enthusiasts and lovers will gather on the market square to dance together and show the dynamism, openness and freedom of our city. Join in and dance for free! You can watch and learn the choreography at www.grass-haus.de and www.tanzortnord.de.

He is known in Lübeck like a colourful dog, dancer Rasoul, who easily manages to get everyone up and dancing salsa. Join in and see for yourself how much fun and enjoyment this little dance class can bring.

Let yourself be carried away by the formation dancers of the well-known Lübeck ADTV dance school Huber-Beuss with their disco beat and hit mix show and find out for yourself why dancing makes you happy: the professional dance instructors will show you how easy and relaxed it is to learn disco fox and how much fun it is to dance new steps in a group in an exuberant atmosphere. We love to dance!
Shows and workshops with the Movement Family

The Movement Family would like to encourage you to join in. It's fun and to make sure you really get moving, the professionals will show you how it's done. There will be a short show, followed by a workshop with the audience.
