You can't get lost on the festival site - you might take the wrong road, but with lots of decoration and ingenuity we'll make sure you find the right way. Here is all the information you need to make your festival experience easier. Where can I park? How do I get to the festival by bus? What are the festival times? Where can I find a toilet? All these questions and more are answered here.

 

Lübeck is a cosmopolitan city and with our HKF we stand for diversity, tolerance and serenity. We agree with our participants, artists and stallholders that there is no place for racism, sexism or discrimination of any kind. We want to celebrate a relaxed festival together - without slogans and agitation.

PARKING
The following car parks are located in the immediate vicinity of the festival:

There are further car parks in the centre of Lübeck: Pferdemarkt, Burgtor, Hüxstraße, Linden ArcadenKanalstraße and MuK.

PUBLIC TOILETS
Public toilets are located on Wallstraße near the Tourist Information, at the market behind Motel One and on Drehbrückenplatz. During the festival there are additional toilets in Mengstraße on the corner of Untertrave, in the Beckergrube on the corner of Untertave and on the market square. Many of the participants and eateries on the Untertrave will also be happy to let you use their nice toilets on request.

TOURIST-INFORMATION AT HOLSTENTORPLATZ
We will be happy to provide you with information during the HanseKulturFestival. Not only can you find out about all the events, but you can also browse through the beautiful souvenirs and enjoy the view of the Holstentor with a delicious drink on the terrace.

If it gets too much for you, you can visit these quiet spots:  experience area at the Holstentorhalle, Marienkirchhof with St. Marys, Schrangen or the quieter side streets Braunstraße to Mengstraße.

 

Naturally sustainable

Environmental awareness is very important at our festival. The market in particular is all about sustainability this weekend. But many other parts of the festival prove that sustainability has long since arrived in the city. Around every corner and in every building you will see the use of reusable crockery and other small details.
