You can't get lost on the festival grounds - you might take the wrong road, but with lots of decoration and ingenuity we'll make sure you find the right way. We have put together all the information you need to make your festival experience even better. Where can I park? How do I get to the festival by bus? What are the festival opening hours? Where can I find a toilet? All these questions are answered here.

Lübeck is a cosmopolitan city and with our HKF we stand for diversity, tolerance and serenity. We agree with our participants, artists and stallholders that there is no place for racism, sexism or discrimination of any kind. We want to celebrate a relaxed festival together - without slogans and agitation.

BUS CONNECTION

It’s easy to get to the HanseKulturFestival by bus! All venues are easily accessible by bus.

  • Fleischhauerstraße
  • Katharineum
  • Koberg
  • Große Burgstraße will not be served during the festival period.

PARKING
The following park houses are located in the immediate vicinity: St. Marien Park House, Burgtor Park House and Falkenstrasse Park House. 

Further park houses are available in the city centre: Mitte car park, Haerder-Center car park, Pferdemarkt car park, City Parkhaus Hüxstraße, as well as the parking areas on Kanalstraße and the car park at the MuK.

 

PUBLIC TOILETS
Public toilets are available at Drehbrückenplatz and Koberg even when the festival has ended. Further toilets are available at Große Altefähre, Hinter der Burg, on the Wakenitzmauer (near No. 20), and also at Koberg. Many event organisers and catering outlets will be happy to let you use their facilities on request.


TOURIST-INFORMATIN AT HOLSTENTORPLATZ
We’re happy to help with any enquiries during the HanseKulturFestival. Here, you can not only find out about all the events, but also browse through lovely souvenirs at your leisure and enjoy the view of the Holstentor whilst sipping a delicious drink on the terrace. We also have a stand on the Koberg. Please feel free to come and speak to us!
