Water Adventure
Water is Lübeck's elixir of life, the lifeline that surrounds the city on all sides. Without water, Lübeck would not be Lübeck. From the Wakenitz to the river Trave and the mighty Baltic Sea, everything flows. Of course, we are drawn to the water and with the river Untertrave on the festival’s doorstep, so will you be. Whether you want to be shipped around on a boat or just sit down at the waterside; the possibilities are endless.
Hanseatic rafts
Sat. 11 am - 9 pm, Sun. 11 am - 6 pm • Pier Drehbrückenplatz next to the stage
The EXEO association offers short guided test rides on the Hanse rafts during the festival. These 15-minute trips are free of charge, but the association would be grateful for a small donation for charitable projects. You can also book a private tour with your friends and family. The route can be decided individually on the raft. The cost of a guided Hanseatic raft tour for 12 people is €150 for one hour.

Boat Trips
Daily between 10 am and 6 pm ● Various piers at An der Untertrave
You don't need to be at the HanseKulturFestival to enjoy a great tour of Lübeck on one of our pretty barges around the Old Town Island. What's nice is that most of them depart from the Untertrave, making it easy to get on and off from the festival site. The two operators City-Schifffahrt and Quandt as well as the Splashbus (note: departure from the MuK car park!) will take you around the Old Town for about an hour between May and December for a small fee.
Splash Tour Lübeck
Daily 10.30 am, 12 pm, 1.30 pm, 3 pm and 4.30 pm - Attention, change of departure point: MuK car park!
The Splashbus travels both on land and in the water and offers you an unforgettable experience. The tour lasts 60 minutes. Please be at the bus stop 15 minutes before departure.
