Description
Detailed description
Café Camino is housed in one of the pastors’ houses for pilgrims, right beside St Jacob’s Seafarers’ Church. In the Middle Ages, these houses were home to Lübeck’s first secular Latin school. Today, Camino serves excellent food, locally roasted coffee and cakes in a historic setting adorned with murals. Its mission is to foster the coexistence of different religions, cultures and values, and the breakfast menu follows the Camino pilgrimage route from north to south. The offer spans German, Arabic, Spanish and French cuisines: enjoy Syrian or German cake specialities, or—if you prefer something hearty—falafel, tortillas, potato salad, beans in tomato sauce, stuffed dumplings, small bites with French brie and more.
