"Kunst am Kai"

Kunst am Kai is a music festival that has been taking place in Hafenschuppen C on Lübeck's northern peninsula since 2014. Gabriele Pott is the initiator and artistic director. The festival presents a mixture of classical and modern music theater pieces, often with the participation of children and young people. The non-profit association Kunst am Kai e.V. supports the festival and is committed to preserving the historic harbor shed. The program for 2025 includes a Disney adaptation of "The Lion King" for children aged 5 and up, the youth opera "Vivaldi's Secret" by Gabriele Pott and Birgit Kronshage and Ralph Vaughan Williams' "A Sea Symphony".
