Lübeck and Travemünde have been a certified "sustainable travel area" since the end of May 2023.  Social and cultural responsibility, ecological compatibility as well as climate protection should be standard in Lübeck and Travemünde: every event, every overnight stay, every purchase should be as resource-saving and sustainable as possible. That is our task. And we are working on it. Until then, we want to make it easy for our guests to take responsibility: with the TourCert label "Partner Sustainable Destination", you can recognise the companies that are serious about taking responsibility today for tomorrow. Businesses, institutions and suppliers who receive the label have proven in an advisory and/or certification system that they operate on the basis of ecological, social and economic principles of sustainability.
