LÜBECK UND TRAVEMÜNDE MARKETING (LTM)
In 2023, the emphasis is on the topic of sustainability. A multiplicity of single measures will be implemented in order to send a signal to others. For example, there are vegetarian dishes with fish from the local catch. Green electricity is used. Various themed activities will be held on Sustainability Day. Food and drinks will be dispensed using reusable plates and cups, and where there is no alternative, biodegradable, disposable plates will be used. Energy is nevertheless naturally consumed and CO2 produced. Even if it is reduced to a minimum. For that reason, trees are planted by way of compensation. Festival guests also have the opportunity to participate. Further information: www.travemuende-tourismus.de/veranstaltungen/seebadkulturfestival.
In 2030, our guests will experience Lübeck and Travemünde as two climate-friendly travel destinations, each with its own profile: Lübeck is the culture city and Travemünde the seaside resort on the Baltic Sea. The quality of life in Lübeck and Travemünde is equally high in both towns. We treat each other and our natural resources with respect. (Tourism Development Concept Lübeck and Travemünde 2030).
