The churchyard of St. Mary’s invites you on a medieval journey through time. Against the imposing brick backdrop, coppersmiths and silversmiths, pewterers and other craftsmen vie for your favour showing off their long-forgotten skills. These wares straight out of the Middle Ages can be admired and naturally also purchased on the lovingly designed stands. Jugglers and musicians in historical costumes provide entertainment on the small stage. The small devil in front of St. Mary’s sits on his stone and watches the wintery goings-on. Stroke his horns and it will bring you luck!
Things get particularly cosy in the evening hours: Candles and countless Christmas stars bathe the square in a magical light. Enjoy the unique atmosphere over a mug of mead accompanied by the strains of music.
