Not only for salty old seadogs
Koberg is the old seafarers’ district in the North-Western section of the Old Town island. With St. Jacob’s, the Hospital of the Holy Spirit, the Seafarer's Guild and the Hoghehus, the square is surrounded by historical buildings showing the way to the maritime quarter like lighthouses. Fishermen’s nets, rustic wooden barrels and a stranded shipwreck create a special harbour atmosphere with a warmth and cosiness you can almost touch. Young sailors can test their sea-legs fishing for ships and on the merry-go-rounds. Or fly up, up and away on the giant Ferris wheel where you will be rewarded with an unforgettable view of Lübeck’s Old Town and the harbour.
