SuperkunstfestivalA weekend that connects, even beyond the Fehmarnbelt Days!
While the focus of the Fehmarnbelt Days 2025 is European exchange under the motto ‘Stronger Together’, the city of Lübeck is also showcasing its vibrant side in many other ways. From 13 to 16 June, Lübeck's diversity will be on full display, with events showcasing culture, sports, and community spirit.
Discover the weekend's highlights here, which bring people and ideas together far beyond the Belt.
From 13 to 15 June 2025, national and international artists specialising in music, art, theatre, film and circus will perform around 80 shows across six stages, enchanting audiences in the process. What makes SUPERKUNST the largest inclusive cultural festival in Germany is the fact that people with and without disabilities from all nations are organising the spectacle. Cultural institutions, workshops, and Lübeck's pub and club scene will cater for all tastes. Join us in 2025 to celebrate together again under the motto 'Music against racism'!
It's football time on Saturday at 4 pm at the Lohmühle! The Lübeck Cougars will be meeting the Hamburg Pioneers to deliver a sporting spectacle full of speed, hard tackles and a great atmosphere. With fans in red and white, cheerleaders on the sidelines, and a passionate team, there's no better American football in Lübeck. So grab your ticket and be there when the Berglöwen attack!
It's worth getting up early on Sunday for the 7 Towers Triathlon, which starts at 9 am and involves swimming, cycling and running — all for a good cause! With the motto 'Triathlon against cancer', every participant and every donation supports the work of UKSH – doing good! Whether you're taking part or watching: It's all about sporting ambition and, above all, team spirit.
Danish artist Asta Lynge presents her first institutional solo exhibition in Germany. In Capacity, she creates a site-specific installation in Lübeck that deconstructs familiar objects like sofas, guitars, and pearls—revealing them as fragile symbols of power, comfort, and progress. Her works exist in a state of flux between creation and collapse, challenging our belief in stability and growth.
The exhibition is curated by Paula Kommoss.
