The subject of inclusion plays a major role in the work of the Lübeck City Guides Association. People with disabilities have the opportunity at any time to take part in guided tours as there are also many barrier-free routes for walkers and wheelchairs in Lübeck’s Old Town. Specially trained guides can also explain the city to guests with mental disabilities. In addition, interpreters can be provided for deaf guests.

Lübecker Stadtführer e.V. offers guided tours in 16 languages on various themes in and around the Hanseatic city of Lübeck. The network consists of over 70 members who create a cosmopolitan atmosphere. The Association organises further education events and regularly donates to refurbishment projects and cultural institutions.
